Hummus 

Hummus is an Arabic cuisine made of cooked chickpeas, mashed and mixed with olive oil, tahini or sesame paste, lemon juice, garlic and salt. It is popularly used as dip or bread filling throughout the Middle East and the Mediterranean countries.

It is rich in vitamins particularly folic acid and vitamin B6 and iron. No wonder, hummus has been named one of the healthiest condiments by a well-known nutritionist.


Mustard
Mustard is a type of condiment that is made from ground mustard seeds mixed with water, lemon juice, salt and other spices. It is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, selenium, vitamin A, niacin, calcium, potassium, phosphorus and fiber. 

Prepared mustard also possesses antibacterial properties that's why it is good for you. It has the ability to protect you from various bacterial infections. This is also the reason why mustard can stay fresh outside the refrigerator for a certain period of time as research shows that the mixture will not grow bacteria, mildew or molds.

The taste of prepared mustard is determined by the type and ingredients, the method of preparation and the temperature of the water used. Using cold water produces a spicy mustard while using hot water produces a mild-tasting mustard.

Some manufacturers often add turmeric to the mixture primarily to enhance its yellow color not knowing that turmeric has tremendous health benefits as it is believed to prevent cancer.


Guacamole

Guacamole is a kind of dip made from mashed avocado mixed with salt, lemon juice, pepper, onion, garlic and other seasoning. 

The term guacamole originated from the Aztecs who named avocado sauce "ahuacamolli".
